Tips & Tricks for Mac OS X
These have been set up for all my recent switcher friends & anyone else interested. A lot of peeps wonder how I managed to become so "proficient" on the Mac. It's really easy actually, the only hard part is getting over the fear of trying new things. A lot of reading and experimenting went into me becoming a proficient user, and no secret sources were involved. So you think you're not brave enough to battle it out in the trenches like I did? Well, I think you are, you just need a little push.
I've set up a few articles outlining some tricks I use to speed up my workflows. This helps create more usability and keeps me sane. it also keeps me doing fun things more of the time (like this website), rather than the same repetitive things over and over, simply because I was too dull to try and think for myself. If you're willing and able to question how you're doing something, and contemplate that maybe, just maybe, there's a better way, then you're ready to begin. Hopefully seeing how I've thought out of the box and put certain tools to use will help you to gain more confidence in exploring the system and coming up with your own great ideas to make computing that much easier and more fun.

NOTE: If you've found this site expecting something to include code or hack the system, I am afraid you're going to be disappointed. These tips are designed to help the layman computer user make efficient use of the the tools that the system itself has. I am not a techie god, I am not even a techie. I am a user, and I might even go as far as to coin the term "Super User." I know the tools I have, how they are to be used, and am quite content to stay within the confines of what's been designed for me. But I make sure I know every nook & cranny of that area.So if you want to know how to not be afraid of the system but rather to have it work for you, please join! I can show you that it won't bite, and that it can indeed be more useful than you had imagined. Maybe even, fun?
