Hey There, Vag

KROQ 106.7FM, Kevin & Bean in the Morning Only the So Cal Natives had this Treat
Most morning radio stations suck, I can attest to that. But there is and has been one diamond in the rough in So Cal over the last 10-15 years. The DJ’s everyone doesn’t want to admit they like (except me; I don’t mind), Kevin & Bean and the KROQ 106.7 Morning Radio Show. I don’t know what it is precisely, but they’re entertaining I I laugh out loud at least twice during the show. Which is three or four times more than when listening to the “Morning Floppy.”

Anyway. Fans of Alternative rock have probably recently been subjected to
this monstrosity of “rock music” by the Plain White T’s, a song called “Hey There Delilah.” It’s not a real song, or at least I’m pretty sure it’s not a real song... God I hope it’s not a real song, for their sake. Because that would be a pretty pathetic thing is what I’m saying. Well, Kevin & Bean to the rescue.

One of their cast of characters is a guy named Psycho Mike. I’ve never met the dude, but apparently, he’s psycho. Not only that, but he’s actually apparently a pretty good singer. He did a rendition of “Hey There Delilah” that simply MUST be shared with all the adults out there with a sense of humor. If you’ve heard “Hey There Delilah” and wanted to shoot yourself, don’t worry, mate!
Follow this link and I’ve you’ll see that Kevin & Bean have the cure.

I linked you to that site because they were issued a cease & desist order from some local lawyers to stop playing that piece, as it’s offensive. I could see that, but keep in mind there were no complaints from the public, so it’s sad to see that happen. If you laughed at that piece, and you’d like to listen to a funny morning radio show wherever you are, you’re in luck. They’re
streaming on the internet.

Peace.
